Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the TypeByte website or application (the "Service") operated by createbyte ("we", "our", or "us").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part, please do not use the Service.

1. Use of the Service

TypeByte is an AI-powered keyboard application for iOS. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or offensive
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the application
• Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its related systems

2. Waitlist

By joining the TypeByte waitlist, you provide your name and email address to be notified when the app launches. You may opt out at any time by contacting us at colabwithcreatebyte@gmail.com. We will not use your information for any purpose other than notifying you about TypeByte.

3. AI-Generated Content

TypeByte uses third-party AI models (currently OpenAI's GPT-4o Mini) to rewrite and generate text. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for certain contexts
• You are solely responsible for reviewing and deciding whether to send any AI-generated content
• We are not liable for any consequences arising from content generated by AI models

4. Subscriptions and Payments

TypeByte offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (Weekly and Monthly). Paid subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store. All billing, refunds, and subscription management are subject to Apple's terms and policies. We do not process payments directly.

5. Intellectual Property

The TypeByte name, logo, and all related content on this website are owned by createbyte and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding or content without prior written consent.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, createbyte shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which createbyte operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
