TypeByte is built around a simple principle: we don't store what you type. Period.

What we do (and don't) store

✦ Your typing is on-device only. Text you type or rewrite never touches our database. It goes directly to the AI model and nowhere else.
✦ No message logs. We do not store, read, or retain any of your messages, rewrites, or voice recordings in our servers.
✦ AI, not us. Rewrite requests are sent directly to GPT-4o Mini. The AI processes it and returns the result. We're not in that loop.
✦ Stats stay local. Your usage stats (rewrites, acceptance rate) live in on-device storage, shared only between the keyboard and main app via App Group.
✦ The only thing we have of yours is your email. Your account email, name, and selected plan — that's the full extent of our database record for you.
